How We Began

 

Love Kupcakes opened its doors to bring the people of Portland the most memorable cupcake experience of their lives. Using only the highest quality ingredients, our experienced pâtissiers develop fantastic flavor combinations using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Not only do we strive to create artisan cupcakes and other baked goods fresh every morning, but we aim to share our edible art with everyone. That's why we work to create multiple cupcake varieties using gluten-free and vegan recipes, while never compromising on taste and quality. 

 

Around Portland

 

In 2014, we bought the Love Kupcakes Food Truck and Trailer, making us the only mobile cupcake business out there! Naturally, we still hold down a traditional bakery at 469 Fore Street in Portland, Maine.

 

Love Kupcakes strives to uphold the high standards of the local Portland Food Scene, and is thrilled to be a member of the Buy Local business alliance.

One of the benefits of being a small business is having the ability to experiment. Since launching our signature cupcakes, we've gone on to create whoopie pies, muffins, cookies, and much more.
